In the past few days a demanding rehabilitation of another group of Palestinian children, victims of war was successfully completed at the University Rehabilitation Institute.
From October 2015 to date, we have provided rehabilitation for 101 children and training for 12 therapists. Since 2009, when the then President of Slovenia, Dr. Danilo Türk initiated this project, we have provided rehabilitation for 207 children and training for 32 therapists. Given the terrible conditions in Palestine and the alarming increase in the number of children in dire need for medical treatments the Foundation will continue with this worthy humanitarian initiative.
