The conference offered a platform for a highly interactive dialogue on the Organization’s responsibilities – and opportunities – as a regional arrangement under Chapter VIII of the United Nations Charter in the contemporary security context. The event explored innovative ways for the OSCE to strengthen its co-operation arrangements with the United Nations and other regional organizations, particularly in the areas of conflict prevention and conflict resolution.
