Funds to support activities for the prevention and elimination of the effects of any form of child violence or abuse are raised in various ways, among others by organizing the annual charity concert ‘Let Them Dream’.
In this way, the funds raised are allocated in their entirety to the actual project of prevention and elimination of the effects of violence towards children – crisis centres, additional activities and programmes that are carried out outside of the centre’s regular activities, as well as for leisure activities for the children and youth admitted into the crisis centres, in addition, for the rehabilitation of invalid children from Gaza at the Soča University Rehabilitation Institute, a holiday for the children from the war-torn Libyan towns of Misrata and Benghazi, and using the funds raised through the charity concert in 2011 we were also able to build a children’s kindergarten in the missionary Pedro Opeka’s Slovenian town in Madagascar.
