The first ‘Let Them Dream’ Foundation charity concert took place on 19 April, 2010 and such artists as Jan Plestenjak with the Simfoniki and guests - Alenka Godec, Sabina Cvilak, Neisha and Perpetuum Jazzile came to perform.

Besides the guests at the sold-out Gallus Hall venue in Cankarjev dom, the viewers also answered the call to do good, as they helped the children in need by calling the call centre which was broadcast live, together with the charity concert, on Channel 1 of Television Slovenia and online at www.24ur.com, and proved that Slovenia readily helps make these children’s dreams come true. Slovenians once again showed their generosity, raising an tremendous €166,785.52. All the proceedings of the first ‘Let Them Dream’ charity concert went to four crisis centres for children and youth (in Koper, Krško, Nova Gorica, and a crisis centre for children of Slovenia), to the child assistance Preventa, the rehabilitation of invalid children from Gaza at the Soča University Rehabilitation Institute, as well as for an excursion for more than thirty Slovenian children from the crisis centres.
Not only did the viewers respond to the children’s plea, numerous volunteers stepped in to participate in the project. At the call centre, 58 volunteers and 21 celebrities put in three hours of their time to take calls - among them Janez Dolinar, Saša Einsiedler, Mario Galunič, Manica Janežič Ambrožič, Katja Jevšek, Matjaž Kek, Gaber Keržišnik, Tomaž Klemenčič, Lucienne Lončina, Mojca Mavec, Alenka Mirt Iskra, Miša Molk, Alenka Oldroyd, Rosvita Pesek, Alojz Svete, Marjan Šarec, Matjaž Tanko, Gregor Trebušak, Vid Valič and Erika Žnidaršič.
The charity concert ‘Let Them Dream’ was hosted by Slavko Bobovnik and Ota Roš. The event was coordinated by the well-known Slovenian director Marko Naberšnik, while Urška Alič Flajnik carried out the management of the entire charity concert.
