The mission of the Foundation is aimed at promoting activities for the prevention and elimination of the effects of child abuse, in areas where peace is threatened, in areas of war, in areas where childrens’ dignity is severely violated and where their lives and health is at risk.
Following the successful charity event, Foundation has again succeeded to provide financial sources to secure annual sponsorship to 21 children from socially disadvantaged families in Slovenia.
At the occassion of 4th of April, the International Day for Mine awareness and assistance in Mine Action the exhibition of drawings of children from Gaza was organised at the Ljubljana City Hall. Those children are part of the project “ Rehabilitation of children from Gaza and Syria" and came to medical treatment to Slovenia.
University Rehabilitation Institute SOČA has started a 27- day rehabilitation of the 13th group of wounded children from Gaza, victims of armed conflicts. 8 severely injured children will benefit from a wide-ranging rehabilitation program that will provide significant improvement in their motor abilities.
In the continuation of the project "Rehabilitation of Children, Victims of War from Gaza and Syria", the 12th group of children from Gaza has recently completed the rehabilitation in Slovenia.
